Bespoke Hotels signs London hotels deal with Criterion Capital

Bespoke Hotels has announced an agreement with hotel developer and investor Criterion Capital to open four new hotels in London, commencing in Q4 2016 and throughout 2017.

The first hotel to open will be the 86-bed MGallery London Leicester Square, which is currently being converted from the former Victory House office building on the north side of the square and is scheduled to complete in late 2016, when it will be operated under a franchise from AccorHotels.

In 2017, Bespoke is to open three further hotels including a second hotel on Leicester Square, one in Greenwich and an Ibis Styles hotel being converted in the Trocadero Centre beside Piccadilly Circus.

Criterion currently owns three hotels in London including the Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes near Baker Street, the St Giles London near Tottenham Court Road and the Hotel Ibis London Wembley. The company completed a £937M long-term refinance deal with AVIVA in 2015.
